Description

The Philippine Red Cross, in cooperation with Star Records, celebrates its 150th anniversary with the release of I Move. I Give. I Love—a compilation album for a cause featuring various artists led by Toni Gonzaga, Erik Santos, and Yeng Constantino.

Senator and PRC Chairman Richard “Dick” Gordon, who personally graced the album launching hopes that the project would serve as a vehicle to reach more people, particularly the youth. The senator collaborated with songwriter Trina Belamide to come up with the song, “Always First, Always Ready, Always There.”

Participating artists include Nyoy Volante (“A Hero Has Arrived”), Aiza Seguerra (“Kasama”), Roselle Nava (“Free”), Raki Vega (“Today”), Charice Pempengco (“It Can Only Get Better”), Kyla (“Tara Tena”), Akafellas (“Kaleidoscope World”), Karel Marquez (“Today I’ll See The Sun”), Charlie Green (“What A Wonderful World”), The Company (“Life Power”), and Pinky Marquez (“Always First, Always Ready, Always There”).

Living up to PRC’s spirit, all of the artists reportedly participated for free. Proceeds of the album will go directly to Red Cross. A mall tour will also be conducted to further promote this joint project.
